Wow, how can I get started with this one? What a juxtaposition.

On the one hand, you have a very dedicated owner and the restaurant is in one of the most visually neighborhoods I've ever seen in Japan. He also makes a very mean bibimbap, which was served as a side, and I vowed to steal his technique.

On the flip side, this joint looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. The toilet is also a bit of a horror - perhaps being in the historic district means that there's also no running water for toilets?
