We came to this place during two very different times: once, before we became parents and during COVID, and a second time after we became parents of two.

We first came to this place because we were looking for some Nagasaki Toruko Rice. This is definitely the place for that, by the way - the pilaf is great, the spaghetti is nice, and after a long drive, I needed some carbs, and I got some.

The ambience is also quite extraordinary - it's run by a soccer head, and as I recall, he really liked one particular player who played in Europe but is originally from Nagasaki. Forgot the name, but if I look it up, I'll probably find it.

In any case, great owner, very filling food, convenient location, great prices. If we get lucky enough to go to Nagasaki for a third time, this place will definitely be part of that visit.
