Fresno

The largest city in the Central Valley has a lot going for it, despite it's very under-the-radar identity.

Fresh, local produce will do that.

I came for trivia night, which in most places I've visited, draws a somewhat competitive crowd.

This crowd felt... familial. I was generously let in on some birthday cupcakes. The quizmaster was also wonderful, as were the brews.

Gladly again. Even if I again don't place in the top three.

I did a bit of obsessive research regarding coffee in the Fresno area, and this place blew my socks off, both their beans and their vibes.
